(In detail, I tested Gigapixel in demo version with my 1080 and I noticed “freezes”, but I thought it came from the demo version, a few days ago I invested in a 3090ti and I bought today Gigapixel thinking everything would be perfect but…) On my main configuration I changed graphics card, I went from a 1080ti to a 3090ti and still the same problem. It’s very annoying because I bought this software to do batches, it makes it easier for me to do other tasks and here I am again in trouble. Gigapixel always opens on the same screen even if I close it on another screen, is it motion sensitive? Is it sensitive “in the foreground and background” because it happens when I work on Word for example or when I surf the internet or I walk around in Windows Explorer. I noticed that when I move the Gigapixel window to another screen this kind of problem happens faster, when I leave the active Gigapixel window on the same screen I can process more images before it crashes but it crashes sooner or later. You then have to close the Gigapixel program and restart it, the hassle begins to know where you are in your work. Half the time when I stop the process and restart the batch it works, it kept the processed files in memory which is rather practical but a few moments after resuming the processing of the images the process goes back to lethargy, generally after that it there is no longer any way to do anything, the relaunch process will be definitively in a coma. Let me explain, the software “freezes” randomly when I launch a batch process, it is like asleep, I can click to stop the process, but the batch is like in lethargy. I just bought Gigapixel 6.2.0 thinking it was the demo version that crashed and I’m very disappointed because the problem persists. #TOPAZ DENOISE AI APPLY BUTTON NOT WORKING UPGRADE#I am wondering if I need to upgrade to a more recent version of Topaz Sharpen or if there is some other issue. #TOPAZ DENOISE AI APPLY BUTTON NOT WORKING DRIVERS#I have tried both studio drivers and gamer drivers and it makes no difference. I am using the most up to date drivers for the graphic card. With GPU it processes in seconds, with CPU it takes over a minute to do each picture. This happens whether I use Topaz Sharpen as a Photoshop plugin or as a stand alone. I am processing 50-60Mb Nikon images usually after doing some pocressing in Photoshop Camera raw and then opening in Photoshop main… If I use the CPU to process, the picture comes out beautifully but takes a fair amount longer to process than when I set it to use GPU. It updates and processes very fast, much faster than if I set preferences to CPU, but the resulting picture is not sharpened nearly as well and also it has severe halos especially around the main subject. In Topaz Sharpen preferences if I set it to use the graphics card the result is very poor. I recently upgraded my system to Acer Predator, Windows 11 OS, with 48 Gb Ram and NVidia RTX 3080 Graphics Card. Put it all in ONE DOWNLOAD so this stuff doesn’t happen to people. #TOPAZ DENOISE AI APPLY BUTTON NOT WORKING INSTALL#And stop making so that first a 674 megabyte file is downloaded, and then during the install it has to download more stuff. #TOPAZ DENOISE AI APPLY BUTTON NOT WORKING HOW TO#What can I do to get it back? Please make these updates so that it downloads to a folder that the user knows how to find it, give the path to the folder so in case something like this happens, the user can find the installer and run it again. What it did do was remove the copy of Photo AI that I had and now I have nothing, no program at all. I can’t do that because I have no idea WHERE it downloaded the installer to. Then the dialog said that since an error accrued that my system wasn’t changed and to run the installer again. The second time I downloaded it, the installation started, then while it was downloading the 4 modules or whatever, the internet connection timed out. The first time I got an error message saying it wasn’t compatible. ![]()
